Clun Forest

General Appearance:
- Medium sized sheep
- Strong wide heart girth, long body and strong legs
- Bold walk
-Mature body weight Rams 75-105 kg Ewes 65-80 kg.

Head:
- Narrow and sleek, with sharp eyes
- Clean, open dark brown face
- Polled, white wool covering top of head, free from dark wool
- Ears moderate length, set high

Neck:
- Muscular, and strong, blending into body
Shoulders:
- Well rounded, blending into body

Chest:
- Deep with lots of depth through heart girth

Back, Loin and Rump:
- Lengthy strong back with deep ribs
- Strong loin
- Well rounded thighs

Feet and Legs:
-Legs squarely placed, good hocks
-Strong bone, fairly free of wool from hock and knee down

Fleece:
- A tight fleece, fine texture
- Free of kemp and dark or gray wool
